This Minolta SRT 201 is a manual focus, 35mm SLR camera introduced by Minolta in 1975. It is an update on the venerated SRT 101 and the only real difference is the 201 includes an electronic hot shoe for on-camera flash. Overall, the SRT 201 is an incredibly solid and reliable camera. It has a built-in light meter (match needle style) and full manual control of shutter speeds and apertures. The SRT 201 has a mechanical self-timer and depth of field preview. Some models also have a mirror lock-up, but not all. The top shutter speed of the SRT 201 is 1/1000 the flash sync speed is 1/60.
The SRT 201 is meant to work with the MC variant of the Minolta SR mount. Later MD lenses will still work just fine on this camera though.
